In BLFS version 8.0 systemd, I've compiled Audacious-3.8.2 and its
plugins. The section "Configuring Audacious" has you execute this copy
command:
cp -v /usr/share/applications/audacious{,-qt}.desktop &&
It's not clear what is to be copied where.
The easy way to see what is happening is to prepend echo to the command:
$ echo cp -v /usr/share/applications/audacious{,-qt}.desktop
cp -v /usr/share/applications/audacious.desktop
/usr/share/applications/audacious-qt.desktop
Ah, ok, that clears up my misunderstanding of the syntax. Thanks! I keep
learning new things.
Somehow I seem to have missed a step -- maybe "make install"?
