Hmmm, transcode seems very old (last commit in 2011). The source is still
available at the link given in the book (see also
https://bitbucket.org/france/transcode-tcforge), but does not seem to be
maintianed. Maybe we should try to find a more modern alternative (or maybe,
ffmpeg is now the program to use for transcoding). It does not seem transcode
is required by anything in the book.
