According to Phoronix,

it looks like the nouveau driver dropped glamor support back in 2015 so
there is no point in creating the nvidia.conf file in
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ like it is recommended in the XOrg driver section
"man nouveau" also does not show the possibility of using glamor as an
"AccellMethod".
I'm in no way an expert in this but I thought it would be a good idea to
highlight it in the mailing list.
