My husband purchased a record player which came with software called
Audacity to enable him to transfer records to disks. Have any of you ever
heard of this software? He is not blind by the way. When he loaded it in,
his scanner got really messed up and he couldn't use it. He called his
scanner's customer support and for $25 they helped him fix it. I would be
afraid to reload that software.

Two questions:

Can he use the same software to load records into the computer as tapes?

And

since I would like to be able to do the same thing with jaws what software
is recommended? I am not interested in loading in speech or copying from
four-track, but I need the easiest software I can get that will work well
right now.
