Listers, I really need some understanding. I went to the task manager to check on soem of the settings, especially Jaws. I found that Jaws was set on below normal in the set priority combo box. Well, I was glad to find that, because Jaws would not stop choking up.
However, when I changed the settings from below normal to normal, even though, uac showed its head and I had to continue, the new settings would not stay. Now, does anyone out there know or have an idea why the new settings would not stick? If I'm not mistaken, Jaws is running as a service? But does that mean, thedefault settings can not be changed?! I really hope not. I checked my office computer, and all is the same. Vista is running on both units. Okay, thanks for all of your help.
