I think I got everything related to active x controls turned on
and I tried it again from the beginning.
It seemed to try to validate the genuine advantage, but I got
another error:
Validation Incomplete
Why didn't my machine complete validation?
You have encountered an unknown error. Please contact your local
product support team for further assistance with this issue.

I haven't tried the frequently asked questions again which I
think is where I found the diagnostic center last night where I kept
running into the problem with the information bar. I need some lunch
and more caffeine and will see if I can find it again or call my tech.

information bar, you need simply press the spacebar to activate the
menu
choices, at which point, you can arrow up and down through the choice

what you want to do.
