I took care of this little issue last evening over the phone. What John did was accidentally rename an entire group of files at the same time instead of just the single file that he wanted to change. Now, when I bring up My documents, everything comes up with my wife's name and a number. For example, Linda Justice 1, Linda Justice 2, etc. All I was trying to do was create a folder for my wife. But I must have inadvertently renamed a vital file which controls how the various documents are displayed. I tried using System Restore and taking the file back to another date before today. But the thing keeps calling everything Linda Justice. I do remember hearing something about "desktop.ini" or something like that. Could I have renamed that file or folder in error? Yes. I have just returned from the hospital and I don't think I'm quite myself. Rick, I believe it's time for a little Justice to Justice help here. If anyone has any additional ideas, I'd appreciate it.
