Strange. What happens if you use the Ins. + Esc. key combination that's supposed to make Jaws 'refresh' it's virtual buffer?
Another thing to try out is to use the 'View' menu, and choose 'Source' and see if the page is actually loading as a blank, or whether it's only really the screenreader that's doing it as such. Not sure if this will help much, but it might give you more info at least.
