And one more thing I've just thought of. Make sure your browser is actually maximized when this page is being loaded, but I suppose if that were really a problem, then no webpages would really work as such, but I have, FWIW, once or twice had webpages that just say 'blank' to me over and over again come right when I realised that the window hadn't as such been maximized.
FWIW, the key combination Alt + Space will bring up the system menu, and the hotkey X will then make sure it is in fact maximised.
