Go to the run dialogue and type chkdsk l: or what ever you drive is and hit enter. Next do a scann disk on that drive.
SA&G : Hi. I have a corrupted folder on my external drive it was working : earlier this afternoon and then when I went to check it again a few : hours later it said that the folder was corrupted. What can I do : about this? I have all ready tried scanning for viruses and AVG found : nothing. It can't even be deleted. Here's the message that I get when : trying to access it. My Documents : L:\old\Michel\My Documents\DVS Movies is not accessible. : The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable. : OK I have the same folder on the same drive so I am ok but I am just : wondering what I should do with the one that is corrupted?
