Hi folks,
I have had it with this old machine. Its slow response and
frequent crashes are on the way out.
To that end, is there anything I need to be especially aware
of in the purchase of a new windows machine?
I know I want all of the processor speed, ram memory and
hard drive they can stuff in the case.
I am absolutely going with Windows-XP Pro, probably office
XP only because I own it, Eudora for E-mail, Winamp for
playing my work audio CD's, and probably AVG for my
antivirus program. The two specific questions I have are:
1. What is in your opinion the best firewall program for a
DSL connection?
2. What is a good encryption program that won't get in Jaws
way?
