It appears that my previous attempt to list did not work.
Hope this gets through and you have not deleted CCAP see below.

Afraid I definitely disagree on at least one point.

CCAP is the main Norton Anti-Virus program and should not be deleted.
Deleting start up programs without knowing what they are is I think a little
gung ho.
I would recommend a good little freeware program called Proc Info.
Running this will establish what processes are being loaded and whether it
is safe to remove them. I found some processes with strange names were
actually quite essential for things I wanted to do. Proc Info checks against
a web database of processes.

Proc Info will recommend removing processes which are known to slow your
computer like the QuickTime system tray agent so it is quite useful for
getting rid of the garbage.

I was sighted the last time I used this but I think it is likely to be
accessible as it was a simple program layout without graphical bells and
whistles.

There may be other utilities that do this job of identifying what programs
are safe or recommended to remove from start up. I got if from a freeware
site called Nonags.

Regards

David Griffith

Hello Patricia,

I believe that you can uncheck the programs that you specified in your list.

I unchecked all programs except antivirus and spy sweeper.
