Sharon, a sighted person can click and drag the task bar (and system tray) to anywhere they wish on the screen. If you tab to the task bar and hit alt -space to bring up the system menu one of the choices is "Move" if you select this you can move the task bar with the arrow keys. Frank

Several days ago I emailed a question about why my desktop could not be read by Jaws. Jaws just reads the first 2 items and then the rest have to be read using read current line. After trying all kinds of different things, Tech Support thought that maybe Windows XP had somehow moved my system tray to a place where it interfered with the reading of the desktop.
