If I understand you correctly your project is to create an audio CD out of MP3 files.
Cdex is absolutely fantastic for ripping cds and recording from analogue source into MP3 on the fly and I use it all the time for this purpose. However I would not suggest that Cdex is the best and most intuitive tool for burning audio CDs. Even in file conversion my experience is that you have to resort to using the Jaws cursor to navigate through file structures and change directories. I think it would be simpler for you to use another tool for the taks you have in mind. There are instructions on the Tips and tricks page as to how to use Windows Media Player for this task and I think it is worth reviewing the Programs pages also for a program specifically for this task. I personally use Nero but I am aware that this is not a free solution. However I am sure that there are free solutions on the programs page. But I still have several questions about this program. I have created a list of MP3 audio files in WINAMP. I would like to use CDex to convert these files to WAVE and burn them to a CD. I guess I am looking for some tep by step instructions on how to move a list of MP3 audio files from WINAMP to CDex, convert these files to WAVE and burn them to a CD. These types of operations are totally new to me and I don't have a clue what I am doing at this point. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
