Hello group. I am having trouble with my brand new Open Book Version 8.0. I
checked through the list before posting and I didn't see anyone else who
mentioned it. But for some reason, every time I try to bring up the program,
it tries to send an error message. I have already uninstalled Open Book using
the Control Panel, deleted the Open Book folder from my drive and I recently
emptied the Recycle Bin just in case. I am still getting an error. I have
tried using the Repair option which is under Tools in the Open Book program but
that doesn't seem to help either.
Does anyone have any ideas? David and Rick. Can I post this to Jaws-Users as
well so that Eric might pick it up?

If this is another bad disk problem, that's fine but I don't want to drive
myself crazy trying to sort this out if it is just a bad disk.

Does that make sense? I hope so.
If anyone else is using Open Book 8.0, let me know if you are having trouble
as well.

SYSTEM COMPONENTS:
WINDOWS XP
JAWS 9.0
PENTIUM 3.0

There's plenty of memory left on my drive so that isn't the problem. Have I
missed anything?
Finally, the Repair wizard did mention some locked files at one time and I
clicked the option to reboot in each case instead of ignoring the files since I
didn't know what they were for. There were several .dll files that wouldn't
open.
But that was back a couple of tries ago.
Thanks for your patience with this people.
