Along the lines of this being related to some people having a hard time physically typing, I know there are some guys who use things like Dragon Naturally Speaking where you literally just talk to the computer and it types for you.
I also have a free, but somewhat limited one called CoolInfo, but I haven't really tested it since I'm not sure how to in fact 'train' it to recognise my voice without being able to read it the training passages if I can't 'see' them.
