Patricia,
You will need to change to the classic start menu.
Go to the control panel, then to task bar andstart menu.
Control tab one time to start menu.
Down arrow one time to classic. Tab to OK.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] My Computer on Desktop

I need help getting my computer on the desktop. currently it's set up
stupid*not my computer* so the control panel and the my computer are somehow

joined and the control panel is in the startup line up of the start menu and

not through settings...
I did find where I think I was in IE options on the advance page a checkbox

that joined them together and I did uncheck it, but it still didn't solve
the problem.
I also went to windows explorer and that is awhole other kettle of fishy
stinky mess sigh.
But what it boils down to is, I cannot locate that "my computer" to place it

on the desktop even doing a search lord have mercy that was a nightmare!
Now I just need to know how to do this do I just find the "C-drive" and send

it to the desktop through the send to menu option?

Thanks,

Patricia
