Yes, should be fine.

If you're running XP, I think in the my network properties, there's a 
wireless networking wizard that'll allow you to in fact configure both 
machines automatically using something like a flash drive to transfer the 
settings automatically from the machine you initiate the process on to the 
other one.

I tried it with my two laptops, but I think the one needs to be reloaded 
'cos they couldn't 'see' each other afterwards although it's supposed to a 
relatively simple process etc.
