Hi Estelita, Sorry for correction: you are confusing between Bluetooth technology and WiFi. You are correct that Bluetooth can be used to transfer files (this is called Object Exchange, or ObEx for short.) You cannot, however view files on another device using Bluetooth (unless the target machine is a PDA of some sort, in which case it is possible to use ActiveSync (or similar program) to manage files on the PDA). Bluetooth is somewhat equivalent to wireless version of serial port - in other worlds, Bluetooth is a communication link between two computers. To transfer data and to view other computers as a network - to view what files and folders are located on another computer, you'll need WiFi (wireless fidelity). And, both computers must be turned on. I'm 95% confident that David's setup is likely to be a wireless network without a router - access point. In this case, you need to turn on wireless on both computers, go to Control Panel/Wireless Network Setup Wizardeaselect Ad-hoc (where two compuers still connect to each other without a router) and file sharing must be enabled from Network Setup Wizard. If using Vista, be aware that you need to crease a wireless network from the Vista machine first (from Network and Sharing Center) and then connect the Vista computer to XP and vice versa. Hoce it makes sense. Cheers, Joseph
