I don't have any devices connected to the computer when the sounds play. I'm not aware of any extraneous devices. Looking under device manager is a pretty difficult way to determine their presence because it's a brand new computer that I'm not familiar with. I guess I can try looking for duplicates, but I've seen duplicates in the device manaager before and had no problems with computers in the past.

One of the questions that comes to mind is whether you currently have anything connected to the computer in the first place? Next you have to ask yourself whether those devices are functioning properly? Next, check that power is going to those devices properly, with no power fluctuations or power spikes. After that, check your system device manager to see if you have any extraneous devices on there that shouldn't be there.
