Hi Mike, As someone already has pointed out, you have to go into your internet options and into the advanced tab, then arrow down to the multimedia options.
You'll find items like show pictures in web pages, play sounds and videos in web pages and the like. Make sure those checkboxes are unchecked, then tab to apply then shift+tab back to the ok button.
