I just upgraded from AVG7.5 to 8.0 the other day. This is the free version and I am using JFW 9. The installation went fine but when I attempt to access the AVG user interface, I am getting a very generic Microsoft error report message. Anybody else experience this? I have uninstalledAVG, scrubbed my registry, reinstalled AVG and checked out the event log but I cannot find anything specific that is causing this error. Help!
