Hello Linda, No. If you look into your "my computer", you would see your CD burner device as one of the drives. If you press enter on it, you would see that it opens just like a normal drive. Now, you can copy things from your harddrive, and paste it into this window you just opened (which would be your CD-rw device). You need to remember, though, that this is only a virtual version of your CD, and it doesn't work like a floppy drive. If you paste something here, and you don't want it to be in the CD, you can just delete it. It is not written onto the CD, until you go to the file menu (again in the window that you opened first), and choose "write these files to CD". Then a window would pop up asking you for a CD label (which is, in one sense, the name of your CD which appears whenever someone inserts it in their CD reading device), and if the files you've pasted are all music, you would be asked if you want to put them inside the CD as an audio disk, or just a normal "Data cd". --- Contact info: Skype: parham-d MSN: fire_lizard16 at hotmail dot com email: parham90 at GMail dot com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Linda Parent" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, June 29, 2008 10:12 PM Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] Burning data CD's with XP
