I am contemplating updating one of my computer units @ home while I can still get the XP Pro operating system with it. I know nothing about dual core processors which many have now. How does the speed and performance of a dual core processor rank to a regular For instance, I the machine I have now has an Intel 3.2 Ghz processor . I'm looking at a AMD 64 2.2 dual core CPU. Would this perform the same , better, or worse than what I have? Any other considerations I should be aware of given I use JAWS constantly?
