Dual core is two cores as you know, so an AMD 2.2 would be in fact 4.4. And, 
AMD's performance is much better than Intels. for example, I had an AMD 1.6, 
and my friend had an intep Pentium 4 2.6 GHZ, and when we compared them 
together with a CPU testing program, mine got a higher rank, although it was 
1.6. So I believe the AMD dual core would work much better.
