Chris,

I've found a program called iOpus Private Internet Gateway (iPIG), but i'm
not sure how accessible it is, and i'm hesitant about trying an unknown
application on my only working machine. as for your theory on data being
encrypted as it leaves your network, that is incorrect, as the data is only
encrypted locally, in order to stop hackers intersepting your data packets
while they're still traveling from your machine to the router, however,
after they are processed, they are transfered over the internet as pure
text, an easy target for any hacker. my aim is to encrypt the data after it
is transmitted from the router to the internet. the link for this program if
anyone would like to give it a shot is
http://www.iopus.com/iPig/
