wow. I'm running same version of Word, but use OE instead, don't know if that makes a difference.. Do you think it's a setting in Word maybe? When you open a Word does it say print view or something to that? Are you making sure after pressing the select command to press the copy command? If you press some other key before doing the copy command, your selection is no longer highlighted. You could try doing another selecting command of...open the email, press and hold the control-shift keys and the end key*#1 on num pad* then do the copy command.
