I got less than a year and a half out of my Sony Vaio battery and had used it some but not heavily. Thank goodness we had the extended warrantee. At least you discovered bit without unplugging the system like I did. It's hard to show somebody what your computer's doing when the screen goes black and the sound goes bye-bye. "lol"
