JAWS going silent on the Copy command (usually after Windows Media Player has been launched) is a problem that FS has been aware of for some time,but can't seem to fix. But even if you don't hear the reassuring "copied selection to clipboard" when you press Control-C, the command should still execute and the selected text should be present in the clipboard ready to be pasted. To deal with this problem, FS added a new Read Contents of Clipboard command, Insert-Windows key-X, to JAWS 10. If you're having trouble with Firefox, try going back to IE.
