Roger, I wasn't too clear as to wether you wanted to learn how to
navigate through the sign on screen or if you want to disable the log on
screen and have the computer boot directly to the desktop. I am going to
assume the latter and you would like to disable the log on screen. At
the command prompt type in this string without the quotes "control
userpasswords2" There is a check box in that diablog that says that you
want users to enter a username and password. You should uncheck that box
and windows will ask you which user you would like to use to log on as
by default. Once you set that u correctly Windows will boot directly to
the desktop using the user account you specified.
