Then you have to go back into winamp's preffrances and make sure all the file types is selected for winamp to play all known file extensions. I listen to several things with the .aug extension and it comes through both speakers. Hmm what version are you using? I don't know if that really matters, because I have winamp 5.24 still on my desktop and it plays them same as for the laptop and it has the latest version of winamp.
