Hi Maria,

Have you made sure that Winamp is panned to the center?

In other words, have you made sure that the balance is set to the middle of 
Winamp?

You also didn't mention if you've played other file types in Winamp, and if 
those file types played properly.

I would suspect, if it is what I think it is, that if you play an MP3 file, 
the outcome will be the same, and it will only play from one speaker, and 
the fix I'm mentioning here will fix it.

Once the Winamp is open, whether in the main, equalizer or playlist windows, 
press control+alt+K to set the balance, or panning, to 0%.

This will place the sound in both channels, if, like I said, the problem is 
what I suspect it to be.



If it isn't, I'm sorry, and perhaps someone else will know of a cure, or you 
may possibly want to download and install the latest version of Winamp.

In any case, try the keystroke mentioned above, and see if that works.
