Hi, Dan. I wonder if doing a repair on Jaws would help. When I was using
my web-based gmail account, there was a time when Jaws would sudddenly stop
talking. This happened recently. I decided to go back to outlook express
and I'm glad I did. I don't know if trying to repair Jaws would help but
you can give it a try and see if that works.

Just every time I close a window with alt if 4, my computer dies, I think;
in that jaws goes away and its hot key will not bring it back. If it
helps in my explanation, I hear a "dong" sound when I hit the alt if 4
keys. I have to turn the computer off and then back on again to get jaws
back. What could this be all about and how can I get rid of the problem.
