Victor, I've heard of this before but never paid much attention. Your description puts a whole new light on things. Thanks. Is this a program one can "trial" and then buy? Also, is this a download or something one purchases in a box @ a software vendor?

You just ensure that the drive is selected in the drive combo box, tab down to the list of tracks on the DVD disc, make sure they're all checked, tab again to the buttons that say stop, pause, play, next chapter and previous chapter. It plays the DVD from that point once you press the spacebar on the play button. You just sit back and watch the DVD. I believe you have no sight, nor does you your wife, but should you find yourself in a position that you require someone with sight to watch the movie with you, just below those buttons is a check box that turns the video window on or off, depending on whether you have the checkbox checked or not. If you have the box checked, the video will be turned on, and if you have it unchecked, the video window will be turned off. Like I said, all you have to do is make sure that all of the check boxes are checked in the chapter/track listing, and the program will play all the chapters in sequential order, no muss, no fuss. I think it's the most accessible DVD player I've ever seen, and it loads onto your computer with the smallest footprint, meaning there isn't much to this program, and, should you decide you want to rip the audio from the DVD to take with you on an MP3 player or something like that, or to burn onto a Cd, then you can just continue on with the audio extractor part of the program. It's really that simple. Oh yeah, it's relatively low cost also, so this is something I would definitely recommend.
