Well heck if there is a router present in the house and it is a wireless one she can goe wireless on her laptop. If's she using a PC, she'd have to use the ethernet cable unless she buy one of them wireless adapter thingies. Hi all, This is not for me, however this is just knowledge I'd like to have to tell my friend. She's going on Virgin broadband this January, and I'm curious. Since she's the only broadband user would she still need to connect through her cable or can she just go on wireless and not bother about ethernet. Thanks in advance for the knowledge. -- Chris Hallsworth E-mail: [email protected] MSN: [email protected] Skype: chrishallsworth7266 Visit the JAWS Users List home page at: http://www.jaws-users.com Visit the Blind Computing home page at: http://www.blind-computing.com Address for the list archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to [email protected] For help from Mailman with your account Put the word help in the subject or body of a blank message to: [email protected] Use the following address in order to contact the management team [email protected] If you wish to join the JAWS Users List send a blank email to the following address: [email protected] __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 3709 (20081220) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com Visit the JAWS Users List home page at: http://www.jaws-users.com Visit the Blind Computing home page at: http://www.blind-computing.com Address for the list archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to [email protected] For help from Mailman with your account Put the word help in the subject or body of a blank message to: [email protected] Use the following address in order to contact the management team [email protected] If you wish to join the JAWS Users List send a blank email to the following address: [email protected]
