she can goe wireless on her laptop. If's she using a PC, she'd have to use

Hi all,
This is not for me, however this is just knowledge I'd like to have to
tell
my friend. She's going on Virgin broadband this January, and I'm curious.
Since she's the only broadband user would she still need to connect
through
her cable or can she just go on wireless and not bother about ethernet.
