That is what I was hoping to hear! It sounds like Humanware has excellent
Engineering, like Sony used to have, so I am not too surprised.

Actually, for such a small speaker it sounds pretty good. This is my
opinion of corse but normaly I would also bitch if it were not what I
thaught it should be. For listening to music it's not the best in the
world but for books it's awsome.

I agree with you 100%. I am in the same situation and preferences! But
as an Electrical Engineer, I realize there are serious limitations to
this! And at this point, I can not personally judge the quality of the
speaker they selected until I hear it myself. Most likely sometime this
month, if I can get all the xmas bills paid and the van inspected, I will
buy one! But pushing for a better speaker at that point would not
personally benefit me.

Hi all, I am looking forwerd to getting a Stream, but what I do not
understand is why didn't they put a better speaker in the Stream to
begin
with? This is a very bad point of contention because the Stream is such
a
fantasic device, it's like having blackwall tires on a Cadalac! So, can
we ask Human Ware to now begin upgrading the speaker in the Stream,
especially before I get one...Ha! I can't see having such a compact
device and having to carry around extr speakers to listen to it and I
don't like headphone.

does a 32 Gb card cost for it?
