I have encountered the problem with other programs also. The work around I use is to route Jaws to PC using insert and numpad minus and then read with the Jaws Cursor. This at least allows you to restricts the amount of text being read .

Cheers Alex -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Kate Sent: 08 January 2009 20:49 To: [email protected] Subject: [Blind-Computing] firefox and insert B Another question about firefox and jaws commands... I sometimes get dialogue boxes popping up and I need to hear them again or here the full message of the dialogue box. In internet explorer, I simply typed the combination insert B. That spoke the dialogue. Now in firefox when I try to use that command, I speaks through all sorts of things on the page before it gets around to reading the dialogue. Is there a way for me to just hear the contents of the dialogue box?
