The safest way to move Favorites into a folder (I assume you mean IE
favorites), is to use the Context key or Shift-F10 to add them one at a
time. First, focus on IE and launch your Favorites list, Control-I. To
create a new folder, hit the Context key, arrow down to Create New Folder
and hit Enter. Once you have created a folder, focus on a Favorite you
would like to add to this folder and hit Context key. Arrow down to Cut and
hit Enter. Now, refocus on the folder and hit Context key again. Arrow
down to Paste and hit Enter. The selected Favorite will be added to the
folder. Repeat these steps for each Favorite you wish to add to the folder.
This may seem a little more complicated than using Windows shortcut keys,
but you are less likely to screw up along the way and lose a Favorite. I
always use this method to add Favorites or Feeds to folders. Remember that
you can use the Undo command, Control-Z if you make a mistake. HTH.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Moving favorites into folders
Hi All,
I am running XP & Office 2002 Home with Jaws 10 latest. In attempting to
move some of my favorites into a folder I have lost them and can't find
them
anywhere. Good thing they were favorites I really didn't need. In order
for me not to lose anymore favorites, would someone please provide me with
the steps to moving favorites into folders? Also, is there a place that
lost links in My Favorites will go? I don't know the exact verbage of the
links so I can't do a search for them. I have checked the Recycle bin and
they are not there. All help/information will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks much. Take care.
Mike
