Hi Mike,
You can locate all of the favorites on your machine by doing the following:
Using the search, or find utility in Windows, and specifying where it is to
search.
select the option for all files and folders.
Enter the following search string in the box that says, all or part of the
file name:
*.url
This is the file extension for internet shortcuts.
the star (asterisk) is a wild card, that will bring back a result list of
everything that has the extension of .url.
As to placing shortcuts into specific folders in the favorites folder,
you can do as I do, and just save them directly into the Favorites folder
and move them where you want later.
I have placed my own shortcut for the favorites folder on my start menu, for
this purpose.
