They both seem quite dependable to me. Think about it all a firewall needs 
to do is monitor incoming and out going traffic which they do. Now of course 
you'll need to maintain your windows security updates but I like them fine.

Ah,  thanks for that.  Another question if I may.  How dependable do you
feel these firewalls will remain if there won't be any further updates?
I've been a little worried ever since Sygate got swallowed up, and I still
use it on at least one computer.

HI David.  I'm curious.  How do you feel Kerio compares to Sygate?  Also,
does Kerio still do updates unlike Sygate which no longer does since it was
