Mike, to start Narrator press Windows u, then press alt n. The Narrator is very similar to XP, except the voice is more human and clear, and some of the options are different than the Narrator in XP. Also, if you have more than one SAPI5 voice installed it is possible to change the voice from the voice settings dialogue box, activated with the voice settings button. Now, to check what Vista he's running, press windows pause. This will bring up the system task pain. Narrator should automatically read the window entirely, but if not, press shift control space. Hope this helps.

The problem is his Jaws is version 3.3 which won't work. What is the keystroke for activating the Vista Narrator so he can find out what version of Vista he is running? ? Would you all be so kind as to provide some step by step directions on the operation of the Vista Narrator? All advice, information, direction/instruction will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all very much. Take care.
