Hey, I'm curious, once I've made a selection can I somehow preview what I've 
selected? I could do this in Sound Forge 6, but can I do it in Audacity I 
wonder.

Well, like I said, I don't try using things like the cursor keys and shift
etc., but instead type in start/end time values, and it does work for me.

Make sure you use Ctrl + F6 to get to the relevant selection area (might
have to tab around the areas to find the fields).
