Hi Steve, There must be something wrong with your keyboard manager or something else, as the keystrokes I mentioned are Windows Keyboard commands.
If you go to the view menu, then to the go to sub-menu, you'll find the hotkeys right beside the back and forward commands. You should check if these are available in those menus, because if they aren't, then there's something wrong with your display. As well, contrary to what Eric wrote, these commands have been around since Windows 98, and should work on all makes of Windows from then on. Like I said, in a window, go to the go to menu, and see if those commands are available. If they aren't, then you've got other problems.
