I have a new computer that came with AVG. Prior to AVG 8.5, I was using a free version of Avast. AVG scans the whole computer in about 19 minutes, whereas, Avast took about 48 minutes to do a complete scan. Is this time difference appropriate, and does AVG handle virus, spyware, adware, etc.?
