Hi Jacob, Thank you very much for your response. I was unable to find the file with a search, which I don't understand because I only pressed the delete key and it should have went into the Recycle Bin. I did have all these " .eml " files saved to a flash drive and was able to recover it from there. I just don't understand where that file went. Thanks again, take care. Mike

In windows explorer, did you just hit the delete key? If you hit shift + delete, it would in fact just get deleted instead of going to recycle bin. If in windows explorer and on the tree structure on the left, your local harddrive, C: is highlighted, hit Ctrl + F, tab to all files and folders and hit space on it, then in the file name box, you could try typing in something like *.eml which will return all *.eml files on the harddrive. If this still doesn't find it, there are more options in that search interface to make sure it'll return system/hidden files/folders etc. etc. HTH Jacob Kruger Blind Biker Skype: BlindZA '...fate had broken his body, but not his spirit...' ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike & Barbara" <[email protected]> To: "Blind-Computing" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, April 23, 2009 4:14 PM Subject: [Blind-Computing] Finding missing file > Hi All, > > I accidentally deleted a " .eml " file out of My Documents.
