Hello and thanks for getting back. It seems that the problem is that the device is not showing up. if in a terminal, using iwconfig to see the wireless devices, it does not show any wireless devices so I am thinking it's a matter of drivers. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nimer Jaber" <[email protected]>

Hello list. I have noticed that some of us have taken the time to go out and get these wonderful little computers do to there price and size. I got me a asus eeepc 1000h netbook which I can say I absolutely love but am having an issue when I am running vinux, live on it. of corse, the best way to get it going in the first place is to install vinux on a flashdrive which I did and boots just fine. Problem is getting the wireless to worrk. I do not have the option currently to use ethernet so wireless is the way I have to go. I am not good enough at linux unfortunitly to see what the problem may be. Perhaps it's drivers I need, perhaps it's something else. If anyone has ever tried something like this and had better luck, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
