After hours of research, I finally discovered why my 6.6 gb file would not fit on my 8gb flash drive. It turns out that flash drives are formatted in FAT32 which has a file size limitation of 4gb. So, to make my flash drive behave like a hard drive, I reformatted it to NTFS which has no file size restriction, and voila, I was able to back up my entire 6.6gb Documents and Settings folder without a hitch using the Windows Backup utility. So thanks for suggesting that I try formatting the flash drive.

Hi Gerald,

First , did you format your flash drive? I don't know if this will make a
diffeerence but, thought that I would throw it out there. Also, I just sent in a request to Webvisum for an invitation. Let me see what happens and if I need more help I will contact you off list. Thank you very much for your
invitation offer. Take care.
Mike

You need an invitation code to register for Webvisum. This can be obtained
either from an existing Webvisum member or by contacting Webvisum directly
and requesting one. I'll be happy to send you an invitation code if you
contact me off-list.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Webvisum invitation question

Hi All,

Is an invitation required to register with webvisum? When I open Firefox an
edit field is there wanting my name and password. I have repeattedly
entered my information into the fields and the automatically log in box
is
checked but, I keep getting this sign in field everytime I want to use
Firefox. To my knowledge I am not registered and I have requested an
invitation. Is this the reason that I am getting the sign in field each
time that I open Firefox? All advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
much, take care.
Mike
