In Word 2007, the options should be in the home tab, under the formatting group. Yes right clicking the area will also work. I don't find it horrible myself but won't ask why here.

Well I am not sure about the horrible 2007 version of Word as I
un-installed it and went back to 2003.
In 2003 the following works.
Select the area where you want to change line spacing.
Alt plus o to open the format Menu
Then P for Paragraph.
You are now in a multi-tab dialogue box.
Press control tab until you hear indents and spacing.
Pressing tab through this dialogue box will eventually bring you to a combo
box where you can select the line spacing you want.

If this does not work in 2007 then I guess trying the application key after
selecting the area you want to change may give the best results. Look for
the format options.

Well the subject line says it all. How do you turn it off? My wife is using
it on her Vista machine. She's already went around in circles using tab to
find the option to shut it off. Any help is appreciated. Your bro in Christ,
