i am running jaws 9 as well and sp3 installed and runs without any
problems.
sp3 includes all the updates to keep your system current, so yes go ahead
and download it. just make sure you let it install without any
interuptions and follow the instructions.

The only reason I was concerned is that I had heard of people who had
problems with SP3 hizing certain versions of Jaws. I'm running jaws 9
and I wasn't sure.
